ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Raising Entrepreneurs is designed to give individuals and families an entrepreneurial vision – providing concrete steps on how to put ideas into action! Our goal is to help individuals and families develop businesses that embrace Biblical principles, so that they can experience the freedom that comes with business ownership.
In just two days we’ll take you from traditional classroom thinking, to developing concrete business strategies that will give new purpose to your home education, as well as providing a foundation for future success in business ownership. You will hear topics that challenge the current methods of education, clearly present the Biblical model for training and discipleship, differentiate degrees from vocational preparation, and clearly explain what makes a business work…
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This conference is suitable for individuals and families with children ranging from early childhood all the way up to young adults. Developing an entrepreneurial mindset best begins from a very young age. The topics covered include the things you will need to develop in yourself or your family, all the way from character building and teamwork to business knowledge and how to get started in your business.
- Anyone who is thinking about starting a business.
- Any family seeking to assist their young people in higher education level business skills, including starting a business.
- Any young person looking for a Biblical alternative to traditional college and career preparation, who wishes to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Any family with young children, seeking to lay the foundation for creative entrepreneurial thinking – effective equipping should begin at a very young age to prepare the way and avoid costly mistakes that will hinder future success.
- College students who want a greater understanding of what they need for future success in business in addition to their degree.
- Anyone who wants to improve or expand an existing business
SOME TOPICS WE WILL COVER INCLUDE:
- Disciplines of the father (including coming alongside your wife, setting a family vision, developing a work ethic in young children, avoiding the social/entertainment trap in the teen years, and a parent’s responsibility when a teen rebels.)
- How to avoid recreating the public school at home and understanding the Biblical model for education.
- Building a portfolio of experience; college, resumes and real world experience.
- How to start a business (including choosing your people group and identifying the need you plan to meet.)
- Disciplines of business (including marketing, selling, consulting, operations, financial management, time management, innovation, and developing adjacent markets.)
- Learning how to get your family more involved in your business and inspiring young people toward greater purpose earlier on in life.
- Identifying major causes of business failure
Parents will discover how to reclaim responsibility for their God-given roles, in discipling/training up children to be entrepreneurs, as well as how to create meaningful and profitable work for children – that may develop into long term business opportunities.
Individuals will learn what is necessary to lay a foundation for successful business and entrepreneurship.
You will discover a Biblical alternative to the failing education programs that rely on large corporations for future employment.

What a wonderful resource for families! It is difficult to teach children the value of work and allowing them to experience the pleasure of “earning by doing”. I hope this speaker could be available to more families and churches as we all could use as much financial guidance as possible.
