This weekend was a wonderful time of fellowship and learning together as we looked into God’s Word to discover Biblical Principles concerning personal and business finances. Senor Pastor Tim Pollock and Assistance Pastor Luke Pollock hosted us, with over 60 attendees on Saturday, and about that many during the morning Sunday school hour.
We covered topics including Biblical views on debt and debt reduction, tithing and it’s place in the modern day Church, why God allows evil men to prosper, budgeting, and more. On Sunday evening I shared my testimony, focusing on ways that God has taught me and directed me on personal and business finances, and we also covered one of the sessions from our Raising Entrepreneurs Seminar on “Starting a Business at Age 15.”
The entire weekend was a tremendous blessing – a time of fellowship, sharing, counseling, and teaching. I am grateful to Pastor Tim and his congregation for their hospitality and invitation. As usual, I probably learned more than anyone, as I prepared and interacted with individuals and couples seeking God’s best for their financial situation. It is amazing just how much God does say in His Word about money – and how far our country has fallen away from these basic principles of finance.
